How much should I expect to invest on a linen banner?

There are several variables that will impact the cost of the banner, including but not limited to: size, guest count, and whether illustration is needed. On average, for a medium-sized welcome banner or order of events banner, it can range between $170-300. Smaller banners (e.g. requiring 1-10 words only) will typically range between $130-170. For more complex projects, such as seating charts, projects can be from $200 upwards. Please keep in mind that these are estimates and not guaranteed, as there are many factors that go into pricing. Please note that the cost of standard shipping will be factored into the quote.

How long in advance should I order my banner? Can you expedite orders?

It is recommended to order your banner at least 3 weeks in advance, to account for design time, production time, and shipping time. It is best to order early to secure a spot on the production calendar. Depending on the complexity of the project and my schedule, I may be able to take on a rush order, but this is not guaranteed. Please note that a rush fee will apply if you order a banner and a quick turnaround time is needed.

What is the best way to hang up my banner?

Consider whether you will hang the banner on the wall, from an arch, over the edge of a table... it really is up to you and the vision of your event/space! During our initial consultations, you will have the option to specify whether you need a dowel pocket at the top of your banner, grommets, or just the banner as is. Please note that only the banner will be shipped to you; wooden dowels are not included.

How does the payment process work?

Payments may be made via Interac e-transfer or by credit card. The full payment will be required upfront prior to production. A receipt for your records can be provided upon request.

How long will it take for my order to be completed?

Production timelines for custom orders average from 2-3 weeks from the time the invoice is paid, depending on the complexity of the work. Please note that this time frame may be longer if the required information to create your product is not provided to me in a timely manner. It is the responsibility of the client to provide me with the necessary information/text to create your order in a timely manner. If I foresee any possible delays, I will do my best to notify the client, however any changes to the production schedule due to communication delays by the client will not be my responsibility.

Revisions and Approval

Once the initial design proof has been sent to you, you will receive one round of minor revisions. This is to make small adjustments such as text placement, sizing, and correcting misspelling/typos. This does not include a change in major design elements. We ask that you submit all revisions within 48 hours after the initial proof is sent to you. Once the specified changes are made, a final proof will be sent for your approval. Any additional revisions and proofs will incur an additional fee of $25. If you would like an entirely different design after the initial design proof has been sent to you, an additional fee of $50 will incur.

Please carefully review the design proof for spelling errors and typos. Production will begin only after your final approval of the design proof. If incorrect text is approved by you, and production has not begun, I will consider requests for revision. However, once production has started and if you discover incorrect text later on, I will not be held responsible. If you wish to have the text corrected after production has begun, you will additionally incur the full cost of the reprint.

Shipping

We are currently only offering shipping within Canada. All banners will be shipped to you via Canada Post as a Regular Parcel. You will receive a tracking number. Standard delivery times are 8 business days within Canada. Delivery times may vary depending on location and delays that are beyond my control (e.g. during peak seasons).

If Expresspost or Priority shipping is needed, additional costs will incur. The cost of shipping will be included in the quote given to you, and must be fully paid prior to shipping.

All packages will be carefully packed to avoid damage during delivery. However, we are not responsible for any delays, lost packages, or damages to your package during transit. We cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for damaged or lost packages.

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Due to the customized nature of the product, returns and refunds are not offered. All sales are final.

Orders may be cancelled at any time, however depending on which phase of production you are at, the following will occur:

Cancel within one business day once the invoice is paid - Full refund.

Cancel after one business day once invoice is paid and design process has begun, but prior to production - 50% refund.

Cancel once the production process has begun - No refund.

Handprinted Banners - Production Disclaimer

I strive to most accurately represent the design shown on the design proof, but due to the nature of handprinted work, small variations between the design proof and final product are to be expected. Such variations will not impact overall design elements and are only noticeable upon very close inspection.

Rights and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, all images, designs, and artwork produced during the proofing and production process of your purchase are the property of Clara Leung. You may not recreate or allow others to recreate derivative works from such images, designs, and artwork. Should you choose to cancel your order, you may not recreate or allow others to recreate any part of the designs and proofs sent to you. I retain all rights to post and publish our products and works on social media and online.

The rights to all designs and artworks used (including but not limited to fonts, illustration, photography) to create your product remain with the individual designer, artist, illustrator, or photographer.
